George Malley

George Malley (born July 28, 1955 ) is a retired American steeplechase and long-distance runner .

In 1977 he was US runner-up over 3000 m obstacle behind Kenyan James Munyala with the US record of 8: 22.54 minutes. At the athletics world cup in Düsseldorf he was third.

At the World Cross Country Championships in Madrid in 1981 , he came 51st and won silver with the US team.

In 1982 he finished second in the Philadelphia Half Marathon with the US record of 1:01:43 h behind Michael Musyoki , who ran the world record with 1:01:36 h, and seventh in the New York City Marathon in 2:13: 29 h.

In 1985 he finished fourth in the California International Marathon and in 1986 eighth in the Houston Marathon .
