George Pabos McNaughton (born April 4, 1897 in Gaspé , Québec , † February 6, 1991 in Chicoutimi , Québec) was a Canadian ice hockey player who played for the Quebec Bulldogs in national hockey during his active career between 1915 and 1924 League on the position of the right winger . McNaughton was the last living player to play for the Quebec Bulldogs.

Career

McNaughton has spent his entire career in his home province of Québec with semi-professional clubs. From the age of 18 he played for the Quebec Sons of Ireland for three years, then for the Quebec Crescents for a year until 1919. On December 21, 1919 he finally signed a professional contract with the Quebec Bulldogs from the National Hockey League , for which he played a game in the 1919/20 season . He then left the team again and was active for the remainder of the season for the Winnipeg Victorias - his only station outside Québec - and again the Quebec Sons of Ireland in the semi-professional area.

From 1920 he then played for the La Tuque Warriors and Grand'Mere Seniors, before the striker put on the shirt for the Quebec Sons of Ireland one last time from 1922 to 1924. McNaughton died on February 6, 1991 as the last surviving Quebec Bulldogs player at the age of 93.
