George Morel

George Morel (born September 20, 1967 in New York ) is a DJ and producer in the electronic music scene.

Life

Morel is of Puerto Rican descent and has already been a DJ at numerous events, including on Ibiza ( Amnesia , El Divino , Space ) and at the Love Parade . He also put on radio programs such as the Hr3 clubnight in 1995. His DJ career began in the New York clubs Red Zone , Palladium , Traxs and Save the Robots . Morel also DJed at the Camel Air Rave , where a chartered plane flew from Germany to Greece while a rave party was taking place on board.

In 1989 he produced his first production with the late David Cole - Our Love Is Over (featuring Dee Halloway ). The following year the track From 2 In A Room was created .

He has been involved in productions by artists such as Mariah Carey . In 1992, Morel became A&R Vice President of the Strictly Rhythm Records label . Most of his productions were created under this label, during which he worked with artists such as Felix da Housecat , Armand van Helden , Josh Wink and DJ Pierre .

Morel has made remixes for artists like Sin with Sebastian and U 96 . For his work under the label, Morel received the Billboard Music Award .
