Georges Mitio
Georges Soio ( Georges Étienne Louis Soio; born May 20, 1924 in Toulouse , † September 7, 1994 in Biarritz ) was a French high and long jumper .
At the International University Games in 1947 he won bronze in the high jump. In 1948 he was fifth in the high jump and sixth in the long jump at the Olympic Games in London .
In the high jump, a sixth place at the European Athletics Championships in Brussels in 1950 , a victory at the Mediterranean Games in 1951 and a 13th place at the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 .
Six times he was French champion in high jump (1947-1949, 1951-1953) and once in long jump (1947). In 1951 he was also the Australian high jump champion.
