Georges Harold Roger Gautschi (actually Georg Gautschi, born April 6, 1904 , † February 12, 1985 ) was a Swiss figure skater who started in a single run .

The three-time Swiss champion won the bronze medal at the European championship in 1926 and became vice-European champion in 1929 behind Karl Schäfer . It was the first medals for a Swiss figure skater at the European Championships . He also succeeded in doing this at world championships when he took the bronze medal behind Karl Schäfer and Roger Turner in 1930 . By winning bronze, he was also the first Olympic medalist for Switzerland in figure skating at his only Olympic Games in 1924 . Hans Gerschwiler and Stéphane Lambiel succeeded in doing this after him . In 1928 he married the Hungarian figure skater Edith Hecht (1905–1998). In Zurich he ran a major law firm and asset management firm. Georg Gautschi published articles on Swiss private law in the Berner Commentary .
