Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) is the public broadcasting network of the US state Georgia, founded in 1960 . GPB is a member of the National Public Radio Association and operates 17 radio stations as well as nine television stations. The studios are located on 14th Street in Midtown Atlanta .

GPB is essentially financed by the voluntary membership fees of its listeners and viewers. GPB uses its four fields of work as a slogan: television, radio, education and digital. The facility is operated by the Georgia Public Telecommunications Commission , to which most of the PBS and NPR member stations in Georgia are licensed.

PBS operates WPBA directly in Georgia . With its 17 radio stations and nine TV channels, GPB covers the entire state of Georgia and parts of the neighboring states of Alabama , Florida , South Carolina and Tennessee .
