Geraldo Nascimento
Geraldo Nascimento OFMCap (born May 18, 1936 in Senador Pompeu ) is a Brazilian religious and auxiliary bishop emeritus in Fortaleza .
Life
Geraldo Nascimento joined the religious order of the Capuchin in and received on 29 June 1967, the priestly ordination .
Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Fortaleza and titular bishop of Zama Major on September 10, 1982 . The Archbishop of Fortaleza, Aloísio Cardinal Lorscheider OFM , donated him episcopal ordination on December 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Manuel Edmilson da Cruz , Auxiliary Bishop in Fortaleza, and Timóteo Francisco Nemésio Pereira Cordeiro OFMCap, Bishop of Tianguá .
He resigned from his office on January 22, 1997.
