Gerd Uffelmann

Gerd Uffelmann (born April 19, 1912 in Freudenberg (Siegerland) , † 1999 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German lawyer and pharmacist.

Life

Uffelmann graduated from the Helmholtz grammar school in Essen in 1931 . From the winter semester 1931/32 he studied law and pharmacy at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . He became a member of the Scotland team . He moved to the Albertus University in Königsberg , the University of Innsbruck , the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . In 1948 he was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD. He passed the state examination in pharmacy in 1954. He first proposed the civil service career in the senior civil service and became a Councilor . At the beginning of 1965 he took over the chief editor of the Pharmazeutische Zeitung . He worked on modernizing the paper, striving for loosening up, better legibility and a more fashionable layout. He integrated new subjects and authors. In 1977 he moved to the management of the Federal Association of German Pharmacists' Associations .
