Gerhard Hoeppner

Ernst Wilhelm Gerhard Hoeppner (born December 16, 1852 in Tonnin, Usedom-Wollin district , † April 12, 1898 in Stettin ) was a German administrative officer, manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

Hoeppner studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen . In 1873 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . In 1874 he joined the Corps Saxonia Göttingen . After completing his studies, he entered the Prussian civil service in 1876, from which he retired in 1885 as a government assessor. Since then he lived on his estate Tonnin until his death. From 1889 to 1893 Hoeppner sat as a member of the constituency Stettin 1 (Demmin, Anklam, Usedom-Wollin, Ueckermünde) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party . In 1893 he was national director of the Provincial Association of Pomerania and remained in that office (the official title changed in 1895 to " Governor ") until his death 1898th
