Gerhard Kleinmagd

Gerhard Kleinmagd (born November 7, 1937 in Hamburg ; † November 17, 2010 there ) was a Hamburg politician of the CDU (later the SPD ) and a member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life and politics

Kleinmagd was a trained retail salesman and business economist . At the beginning of the 1990s, he was a self-employed master baker and owner of the Blasius Kleinmagd pretzel bakery.

From June 1982 to January 1983 and from April 1983 to 1993 he was a member of the Hamburg parliament for the CDU. There he worked for the CDU parliamentary group on the submissions committee, the port, economy and agriculture committee and the committee on the situation and rights of foreigners. Later he changed parties and joined the Social Democrats. Until 2008 he sat for the SPD in the district assembly in Hamburg-Eimsbüttel .
