Gerhard Wucherer
Gerhard Wucherer (born February 11, 1948 in Kempten (Allgäu) ) is a former German athlete and Olympic medalist who - starting for Germany - was successful as a 100-meter runner in the 1960s and 1970s . His greatest success is winning the bronze medal with the Federal German team in the 4 x 100 meter relay of the Federal Republic at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich (38.79 s - together with Jobst Hirscht , Karlheinz Klotz and Klaus Ehl , Wucherer as third runner).
For this sporting success he received - together with the 4 x 100 meter relay members - the Silver Laurel Leaf on September 11, 1972 .
Gerhard Wucherer is 1.72 m tall and weighed 70 kg during his active time. He is a doctor of medicine.
