Violence over the city (original title: Torino violenta ) is a crime film from Italian production, which the Turin filmmaker Carlo Ausino directed in 1977.
action
All kinds of crimes happen in Turin, of which the police inspectors Danieli (marred and illusory) and Moretti are trying to master. Above all, a developing gang war between local and French gangsters make the city more and more dangerous. Several murders take place, young women are drugged and raped, the pictures are sold as porn photos and the girls are blackmailed with them. Various attempts by the bosses involved to clear the matter up without further bloodshed fail. A mysterious man, called "butcher", cleans up the gangsters involved without much fuss. When Danieli discovers that Moretti and the butcher are identical, he kills the witness, but is shot himself.
criticism
In a nutshell, the lexicon of the international film judged it to be a "boring action thriller". Genre specialist Michael Cholewa also assesses the work as "boring and average staged".
