history

The industrial area was created on the Geißgraben . A trade association was founded as early as 2001 to improve the exchange between traders and to create opportunities for mutual support if problems arise. In 2005 the Gerchsheim trade show took place in the industrial area for the first time . In the 2010s the industrial park was expanded to include Geißgraben II and III . Twelve years after the first trade show, the second Gerchsheim trade show was held on September 29, 2019, which attracted over 5,000 visitors.
