Hof Baiertal (colloquially also Bärleshof or Berleshof [ ˈbɛːɐ̯ləsˌhoːf ]) is a small settlement near Großrinderfeld in the Main-Tauber district .
geography
The place is about two kilometers north of Großrinderfeld and two kilometers southeast of Wenkheim .
history
middle Ages
In 1463 Hof Baiertal was first mentioned in a document as Beyertale der hof, zu bur (house). Half of it was owned by the respective rulers of Großrinderfeld and was given to the local nobility as a fiefdom. The other half was loaned to the von Zobel family .
Modern times
Even after 1583, Hof Baiertal initially remained Würzburg. Ecclesiastically it belonged initially to Wenkheim and from the time before 1867 to Großrinderfeld. In 1924, the town's own delimitation was abolished and incorporated into that of Großrinderfeld.

The Marienkapelle from 1868 is located in the small settlement. Its bell dates from 1676.
