Giancarlo Corradini (born February 24, 1961 in Sassuolo ( MO ), Italy ) is a former Italian soccer player and today's soccer coach .
During his playing career, he played as a defender . He made his debut as head coach in 2007 when he at Juventus who resigned Didier Deschamps inherited. He has been an assistant coach at Watford FC since June 2012 .

Giancarlo Corradini began his career at Club US Sassuolo Calcio , after which he moved to CFC Genoa in 1978 and to AC Reggiana in 1980 . From 1982 to 1988 he then played for Torico Calcio .
In 1988, the defender moved to Napoli , where he, along with players like Diego Maradona , Careca and Ciro Ferrara , in 1989 the UEFA Cup and in 1990 the Italian Cup and the Italian Super Cup won.
In 1994 Corradini retired from active football.
Trainer
After retiring as a player, Giancarlo Corradini worked as a youth coach. In 1999 he came to Juventus Turin , where he was brought into the first team's coaching staff by Marcello Lippi in 2001, and in 2004 he was finally appointed Fabio Capello's first assistant coach. After Capello's departure in 2006 and the forced relegation of Juve to Serie B , Corradini became assistant coach to Didier Deschamps . After Deschamps resigned shortly before the end of the season, Giancarlo Corradini looked after the team, which had already been promoted, in the last two games. In his first press conference he called himself a "little Mourinho " because he learned from and worked for various top-class football managers. In his two games as coach of the old lady , the team did not win a single point.
The day before the last game of the season, he announced that he would be leaving Juventus to look for a job as head coach. Since June 22, 2007 Giancarlo Corradini worked as a coach at the SSC Venice , but was dismissed on August 30, 2007.
In November 2008 Corradini was coached at Serie D club AC Cuneo 1905 , which he saved from relegation. At the end of the season he left the club. In July 2012 Corradini became assistant coach under Gianfranco Zola at Watford FC .
