Gianfranco Facco Bonetti (born April 19, 1940 in Galeata ) is an Italian lawyer and diplomat and Knight of the Sovereign Order of Malta . Since 2008 he is Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Order of Malta to the Russian Federation .

Facco Bonetti was the Italian ambassador to Russia from 2001 to 2006 . He returned in 2008 and on April 22, 2008 presented Russian President Vladimir Putin with the Order of Malta credentials.

Facco Bonetti is President of the United World College of the Adriatic .
