Galeata is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 2446 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Forlì-Cesena in Emilia-Romagna . The municipality is located about 27.5 kilometers south-southwest of Forlì and about 30.5 kilometers southwest of Cesena . The Bidente flows through the community . Until the end of 1923, Galeata still belonged to the Tuscany region .
