Verghereto is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1784 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Forlì-Cesena in Emilia-Romagna . The municipality is located about 48.5 kilometers south of Forlì and about 42.5 kilometers south-southwest of Cesena . Verghereto borders directly on the provinces of Arezzo and Rimini . The Tiber sources are located in the municipality .
