NGC 710 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Andromeda on the northern sky . It is estimated to be 280 million light years from the Milky Way and about 100,000 light years in diameter. The galaxy is considered a member of the Abell 262 galaxy group .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 703 , NGC 704 , NGC 705 , NGC 708 .
The Type II supernova SN 2002eo was observed here.
The object was discovered by Bindon Blood Stoney on October 28, 1850 .
