NGC 732 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Andromeda in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 269 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 110,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 712 , NGC 717 , NGC 759 , IC 178 .
The object was discovered on December 5, 1883 by the French astronomer Édouard Jean-Marie Stephan .
