NGC 694 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Aries on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 136 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 25,000 light years in diameter . She is a member of the ten galaxies NGC 691 group ( LGG 34 ).

The Type IIP supernova SN 2014bu was observed here.
