NGC 676 is a Lenticular galaxy with active galaxies core from the Hubble type in the constellation fish on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 70 million light-years away from the Milky Way and about 80,000 light-years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 693 and NGC 706 .
The object was discovered on September 30, 1786 by the German-British astronomer Friedrich Wilhelm Herschel .
