NGC 658 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sb in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic. It is estimated to be 137 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 120,000 light-years across.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy IC 152 .
The object was discovered on November 27, 1880 by the French astronomer Édouard Jean-Marie Stephan .
