NGC 634 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sa in the constellation triangle at the northern sky , an estimated 226 million light-years from the Milky Way 's center.
The object was discovered on October 26, 1876 by the French astronomer Édouard Jean-Marie Stephan .
