NGC 633 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SB (r) b in the constellation Sculptor in the southern sky . It is around 229 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 95,000 light years .
The object was discovered on September 1st, 1834 by John Herschel.
