Gianni di Venanzo

Gianni di Venanzo (born December 18, 1920 in Teramo , † January 3, 1966 in Rome ) was an Italian cameraman .

Life

Gianni di Venanzo began his film career as an assistant to cameramen such as Massimo Terzano , Otello Martelli and Aldo Tonti . After taking on responsibility as head cameraman, di Venanzo worked with the most important Italian directors of the 50s and 60s such as Luchino Visconti , Carlo Lizzani , Michelangelo Antonioni and Francesco Rosi .
