Gideon Mensah (born July 18, 1998 ) is a Ghanaian soccer player .

Career

society

Mensah began his career at the West African Football Academy . 2015 first played for WAFA in the Premier League .

In July 2016, Mensah moved to the Austrian second division club FC Liefering , with whom he received a contract valid until June 2021.

In the 2016/17 season he played for FC Red Bull Salzburg in the UEFA Youth League and reached the Final Four tournament in Nyon with the team . With the team he was able to win the tournament.

In September 2017 he was in the FC Red Bull Salzburg squad for the first time against SK Rapid Wien . In January 2019 it was awarded to SK Sturm Graz . After his loan ended, he moved into the Red Bull Salzburg squad for the 2019/20 season.

In August 2019 he was sent to Belgium to SV Zulte Waregem awarded. Until the end of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic , Mensah had 19 missions in Division 1A . After the loan ended, he initially returned to Salzburg. For the 2020/21 season, however, it was awarded a third time, this time after Portugal to Vitória Guimarães .

National team

In November 2019 Mensah made his debut against South Africa for the Ghanaian senior team .
