The Poisonous Mountain is a 317 meter high mountain in the Spessart in the Bavarian district of Aschaffenburg .

The poisonous mountain belongs to the Hahnenkamm range , the main summit of which ( 436 m above sea level ) is adjacent to the neighboring Hohe Mark in the southwest . The municipal boundary between Alzenau ( Michelbach district ) and Mömbris runs over the summit of the Poisonous Mountain . In the north the Kahl runs at the foot of the mountain , the Kahl – Schöllkrippen railway line and behind it the 2305 state road . To the east it is bordered by the Wüstenbach at the Mömbris municipal sewage treatment plant .
