The Gilsbach valley towards Wahlbach

The Gilsbach is a small stream and tributary of the Heller in the southern Siegerland . On its upper reaches as far as Gilsbach, it is also called Sehmbach .

geography

The stream rises northeast of the town of the same name and flows in a westerly and then in a southerly direction towards Gilsbach . In the village itself, it bends, later called Gilsbach , at the tributary of the left upper reaches of Rosenbach to the southwest and then flows on through the meadows of the Gilsbach valley. Finally, on the west course, the brook passes the settlement zone of Wahlbach in the north and flows below in the area of ​​newer commercial buildings from the right into the Heller.
