Gina Mastrogiacomo (born November 5, 1961 in Great Neck , Long Island , New York , † May 2, 2001 in California ) was an American actress .

Life

Gina Mastrogiacomo was born on November 5, 1961 in Great Neck, Long Island, New York, and had three sisters. When she was 18 she moved to New York. She died on May 2, 2001 at the age of 39 in California of complications from a bacterial infection of the heart.

Act

She made her film debut in 1989 as Ginny in the science fiction film Alien Terror directed by Richard W. Haines. One of the most famous films of the actress in the following year was the role of Janice Rossi in Martin Scorsese's film Good Fellas - Three Decades in the Mafia (1990) in which she played Henry Hill's mistress. A year later she was cast by Spike Lee as Louise in the film Jungle Fever and in the same year played the role of Monique De Carlo in David Zucker's film The Naked Cannon 2½ (both 1991). Several television productions followed.
