Giorgi Mujaridze (born March 22, 1998 ) is a Georgian shot putter .

Athletic career

Giorgi Mujaridze gained his first international experience at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2013 in Utrecht , where he finished ninth with a width of 15.76 m with the 5 kg ball. The following year he took part in the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing and won the silver medal in the B final with 17.90 m. In 2015 he reached the final of the Youth World Championships in Cali and finished twelfth with 18.90 m. In 2016 he retired at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz with 17.18 m in qualification, as well as at the U20 European Championships 2017 in Grosseto with 18.39 m. In 2018 he took part in the European Championships in Berlin for the first time, there 19.18 m was not enough for a final, as was the case at the 2019 European Indoor Championships in Glasgow with 19.46 m. He then finished fifth at the U23 European Championships in Gävle, Sweden, with 19.33 m.

In 2019, Mujaridze became the Georgian champion in the shot put outdoors and in 2019 and 2020 also indoors.
