Gisela Bear
Gisela Bär (born October 14, 1920 in Pforzheim ; † September 8, 1991 there ) was a German sculptress .
Life and work
During her training, she attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart , later the Art and Crafts School in Pforzheim and finally the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe .
During her entire career she had her own studio in Pforzheim. The subjects of her artistic work were mostly sacred sculptures and reliefs made in bronze . Her works can be found today in churches and in many places in Germany.
