Gisela Bock (politician)
Gisela Bock (born May 27, 1941 in Oberstdorf ) is a Bavarian politician of the FDP and was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament in the 12th legislative period .
Life
As a qualified chemist, Bock worked from 1970 to 1991 as a lecturer at the Medical-Technical College in Kempten, she also taught at the technical college and advanced vocational school and worked in adult education at the Augsburg Chamber of Commerce .
She is married and has two sons.
politics
Gisela Bock joined the FDP in 1972 and was district chairman in Kempten (Allgäu) from 1983 to 1990 . In 1989 (until 2003) she was district chairwoman of the FDP Swabia , 1991 (until 1998) deputy state chairwoman, 1995 (until 1997) member of the federal executive committee of the FDP, 1995 (until 2001) senior representative of the federal FDP and from 1995 to 1998 general secretary of the FDP Bavaria .
From 2001 to 2004 she was Deputy Federal Chairwoman of the Liberal Seniors , whose Bavarian regional association she has chaired since 2003.
Bock is honorary chairwoman of the FDP Schwaben and the FDP Oberallgäu as well as a co-opted member of the state board of the Bavarian FDP.
Public offices
Gisela Bock was not elected to the Bavarian State Parliament in the 1990 state election in the Swabian constituency , but became a member of the Bavarian State Parliament as Josef Grünbeck's successor on the list . She was a member of the following committees:
- Submissions and Complaints Committee
- Committee on Food, Agriculture and Forestry
- Committee of Inquiry into the Conduct of Members of the State Government (Streibl)
- Committee of Inquiry to Review the Suspicion that Cabinet Member Dr. Peter Gauweiler has leased relationships for a monthly fee of DM 10,000 plus VAT
- Committee of Inquiry into the network of relationships in Bavaria between politicians and tax debtors "tax cases" (deputy member)
After the FDP failed to pass the five percent hurdle in the state elections in 1994 , it left the state parliament.
Bock was a member of the Kempten City Council from 1996 to 1999 and has been a member of the Oberallgäu district council since 2002 .
