Josef Grunbeck
Josef Grünbeck (born September 17, 1925 in Haan near Dux , Czechoslovakia ; † October 15, 2012 ) was a German entrepreneur and politician ( FDP ).
Entrepreneur
In 1949 he founded water chemistry and apparatus engineering , today's Grünbeck water treatment .
Political party
Josef Grünbeck was chairman of the FDP Swabia from 1976 to 1984 . In 1989 he succeeded Manfred Brunner as chairman of the FDP Bavaria and in 1991 handed over his office to Max Stadler .
Public offices
Josef Grünbeck was a city councilor in Höchstädt from 1966 to 1987 , a member of the Bavarian state parliament from 1978 to 1982 and 1990/91 and chairman of the FDP parliamentary group in 1990/91 . From 1983 to 1994 he was a member of the Bundestag . After a serious car accident in 1995, he had to quit his political activities and was in need of care.
