Gisela Fox-Düvell
Gisela Fox-Düvell (* 1946 in Bremen ) is a German painter and graphic artist .
Life
The artist studied painting at the Bremen School of Design . Since 1968 she has participated in exhibitions. The artist lives in Lohne (Oldenburg) and is married to the sculptor and graphic artist Ulrich Fox .
Gisela Fox-Düvell took part in various symposia , namely
- 1995 Plein-Air Symposium in Łeba : Max Pechstein - The Expressionist Space
- 1997 Symposium in Lohne: Making art with plastic
- 2000 EXPO 2000 in Hanover : cow art
In 2006, book illustrations by Gisela Fox-Düvell on Heinrich Heine's work Germany, a winter fairy tale, were exhibited in the town hall of Vechta . In 2009 Gisela Fox-Düvell and her husband took part in the exhibition Wohin. Homage to refugee mothers in the East Prussian State Museum in Lüneburg . The artist contributed paintings and collages on the subject of flight and displacement . From July 6th to September 29th 2013 an exhibition with pictures by Gisela Fox Düvell and sculptures by Ulrich Fox under the title Novalis - in search of the blue flower took place on the grounds of the Count's country estate in Hardenberg .
