Giulio Cesare Riccardi (* 1550 in Naples ; † February 13, 1602 ) was Archbishop of Bari-Canosa (1592-1602) and Apostolic Nuncio of Savoy (1595-1601).

biography

On October 30, 1592 Giulio Cesare Riccardi was appointed Archbishop of Bari-Canosa by Pope Clement VIII during the papacy . On November 15, 1592 he was ordained bishop by Enrico Caetani , the cardinal priest of Santa Pudenziana , with Guillaume de St-Marcel d'Avançon, Archbishop of Embrun , and Leonard Abel, Titular Bishop of Sidon , serving as consecration. On April 1, 1595 he was appointed Apostolic Nuncio of Savoy by Pope Clement VIII during the papacy , where he served until August 2, 1601. He served as Archbishop of Bari-Canosa until his death on February 13, 1602.
