Giuseppe Baturi
Giuseppe Baturi (born March 21, 1964 in Catania , Italy ) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Cagliari .
Life
Giuseppe Baturi received on 2 January 1993 by the Archbishop of Catania , Luigi Bommarito , the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On November 16, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Cagliari. He was ordained episcopal on January 5, 2020 by Cardinal Gualtiero Bassetti , Archbishop of Perugia-Città della Pieve ; Co-consecrators were his predecessor, Archbishop Arrigo Miglio , and the Archbishop of Catania , Salvatore Gristina .
