Giuseppe Beviacqua

Giuseppe Beviacqua (born October 28, 1914 in Savona ; † August 12, 1999 ibid.) Was an Italian long-distance runner .

He finished eleventh over 10,000 m at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin and won silver at the 1938 European Athletics Championships in Paris. In 1946 he did not finish at the European Championship in Oslo over this distance. In 1949 he won the Giro al Sas .

Six times he was Italian champion over 5000 m (1938-1943), seven times over 10,000 m (1936, 1937, 1942, 1943, 1946-1948) and twice in cross country (1949, 1950). In 1938 he became English champion over six miles .
