Giro al Sas

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Giro al Sas is a street race in Trento that has been held since 1945.

The race began in the Giro di Trento, a race that took place for the first time in 1907 on the occasion of the festival of the city patron Vigilius of Trento . The tradition, interrupted by the two world wars, was resumed in 1945 by today's event, which has taken place annually since then, with the exception of 1991 and 1996.

The route length is currently 10 km. The race is on a one-kilometer circuit in the center of Trient with start and finish at Domplatz.
