Giuseppe Parille Piccolomini

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Giuseppe Parille Piccolomini (Czech Josef Parille, kniže Piccolomini ; * August 7, 1751 , † July 6, 1783 in Naples ) was Duke of Amalfi and Count of Celano and landlord of the East Bohemian rule Nachod .

Life

Giuseppe Parille came from the Italian noble family of Piccolomini -Todeschini. His parents were Giovanni Pompeo Piccolomini and Margherita Caterina, née Caracciolo (1723-1802). After his father's death in 1765, Giuseppe Parille inherited his title and the Náchod reign, which was a family affide. Since he was not yet of legal age, he was under the tutelage of his mother until August 5, 1771.

Giuseppe Parille married Maria Cristina (1746–1842), daughter of Don Guglielmo Antonio Ruffo , on October 16, 1768 . Since the marriage had remained childless, after Giuseppe Parille's death in 1783, with which the Piccolomini-Todeschini line in the male line became extinct, there was a legal dispute over the possession of the Náchod rule for years. It was only decided in 1786 in favor of Count Joseph Adalbert von Desfours ( Josef Vojtěch, hrabě Desfours ). This was a grandson of Duke Lorenzo Piccolomini .

Giuseppe Parille's widow Maria Cristina, who until then lived mainly at the Ratibořice Castle , then left Bohemia and returned to Naples, where she died in old age.
