Giuseppe Satriano (born September 8, 1960 in Brindisi , Italy ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and Archbishop of Rossano-Cariati .

Life

Giuseppe Satriano received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Brindisi on September 28, 1985 through Archbishop Settimio Todisco . He then worked in training for priests and as a religion teacher. From 1997 to 2000 he worked as a pastor in Marsabit ( Kenya ). From 2001 to 2003 he was the regens of the diocesan seminary in Ostuni .

Since 1991 he has been cathedral capitular and since 2003 vicar general of Brindisi-Ostuni.

Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Rossano-Cariati on July 15, 2014. The Archbishop of Palermo , Salvatore Cardinal De Giorgi , ordained him episcopal on October 3rd of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Brindisi-Ostuni, Domenico Caliandro , and his predecessor Rocco Talucci . The inauguration in the Archdiocese of Rossano-Cariati took place on October 25, 2014.
