The Gjemselund Stadium ( Norwegian Gjemselund Stadium ) is a football stadium with an athletics facility in the Norwegian city of Kongsvinger in the province of Innlandet . The football club Kongsvinger IL (short: KIL) has its sporting home here. The sports facility on the banks of the Glomma , inaugurated in 1953 , now offers fans 5,824 seats. The visitor record comes from June 26, 1983 from the game Kongsvinger IL against Vålerenga Oslo (0: 3) with 6,794 spectators.

In 1986 a new main grandstand was built and the cinder track was replaced by a plastic track. A new lawn was laid in 1990. Until 2008 the stadium was used for athletics.
