Glódís Perla Viggósdóttir (born June 27, 1995 in Kópavogur ) is an Icelandic football player who has played in the top division of Swedish women's football , Damallsvenskan , since 2015 - initially for Eskilstuna United DFF and since 2017 for FC Rosengård .

Career

In the club

Glódis started her career with Breiðablik Kópavogur . In 2009 she left Breidablik and began her senior career with the reserve team at HK Kópavogur . In summer 2010 she left Iceland and moved to the Danish 1 division at Horsens SIK . There she scored in her first professional season in 21 games, 14 goals and was signed on December 22, 2011 by Icelandic UEFA Women's Champions League participant Stjarnan Garðabær . She made her international debut for Stjarnan on September 26, 2012 in the UEFA Women's Champions League against Zorkly.

For the national team

The midfielder plays for the Icelandic national team and made her A international debut on September 15, 2012 against the Northern Irish women's national soccer team . In 2011 she took part in the UEFA U-17 European Championship in Switzerland for the Icelandic U-17 .
