The Gleierbach is a 5.05 km long right tributary of the Lenne in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

geography

The Gleierbach rises in the Saalhauser Mountains , about 1.3 km south of Bracht in the Schmallenberg area . The source is located south of the saddle between Bracht ( 599.9  m ) and Helle ( 614.1  m ) at an altitude of 486  m above sea level. NHN . From here the stream flows primarily in southern directions. After a 5.05 km stretch of river, the stream flows into Gleierbrück at 301  m above sea level. NHN on the right into the Lenne . The height difference overcome is 185 m, which corresponds to an average bed slope of 36.6 ‰. The Gleierbach drains a 10.12 km² catchment area via the Lenne, Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea .

The Gleierbachtal is largely uninhabited, but is used by the L928 and some ponds are used.
