Glenn Donald Hamilton (born August 13, 1966 in Christchurch ) is a New Zealand beach volleyball player .
Career
Glenn Hamilton formed a duo with his brother Reid Hamilton on the World Tour . In 1991 and 1992 they played their first tournaments in Sydney , where they finished tenth. In 1993, in Enoshima , they came eighth for the first time in the top ten. The following year they climbed to fifth place in Miami . Seventh in Marseille and Enoshima and ninth in Carolina , they achieved further top ten results. At the first tournament in 1995 in Rio de Janeiro they were also ninth. They then finished 17th nine times in a row. At the Fortaleza Open, she returned to the top ten. In 1996 they took 13th place in Alanya and Berlin . They then took part in the Olympic Games in Atlanta . The brothers lost to the Italians Ghiurghi / Grigolo in their first game . In the losing round, they also had to admit defeat to the Australians Prosser / Zahner and were eliminated. After the Olympic tournament, they finished seventh in the Grand Slam in Pornichet . The remaining three open tournaments of the year they finished in 17th place. They achieved this result at their last two appearances in 1997 in Lignano and Marseille.
