Gliese 317 is a red dwarf that is orbited by at least two planets , Gliese 317 b and Gliese 317 c . The star has the spectral class M3.5 V. Its mass is around 0.42 solar masses . Its companions were both discovered in 2007 through measurements of its radial velocity .
