Globine Isoldia Mayova (born February 29, 1988 in Grootfontein , South West Africa ) is a Namibian sprinter .

Athletic career

Globine Mayova gained her first experience in international championships in 2005 at the Youth World Championships in Marrakech , where she was eliminated in the first round over 100 and 200 meters with 12.52 s and 25.51 s. The following year she took part in the 200-meter run at the Junior World Championships in Beijing , where she was eliminated with 25.23 s in the run. In 2011 she took part in the Africa Games in Maputo for the first time, where she reached the final over 200 meters, but in which she could not finish her run. In addition, she was eliminated in the 100-meter run with 11.97 s in the preliminary round. The following year she retired from the World Indoor Championships in Istanbul in the 60-meter run with 7.64 s in the first round and reached the semi-finals at the African Championships in Porto-Novo over 100 meters, in which she finished with 11.91 s eliminated in the semifinals and finished seventh over 200 meters in 24.30 s. At the IAAF World Relays 2015 in the Bahamas, she took sixth place in the B-final with the Namibian 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 40.21 min and was eliminated at the African Games in Brazzaville with 11, 89 s on the first round.

In 2019 she took part in the Africa Games in Rabat for the third time , where she was eliminated in the preliminary round over 100 meters with 12.54 s and finished fourth in the Namibian 4 x 100 meter relay in 45.55 s.

In 2013 Mayova became Namibian champion in the 100 and 200 meter races.
