The Goldbach ( Hungarian Arany-patak ) is a brook in Burgenland and Hungary . It rises on the southern slope of the Ödenburger Mountains and then flows in an easterly direction. The Austrian-Hungarian border crosses the stream near Deutschkreutz . It flows into the Ikva near Nagycenk , Sopron district . The catchment area of the Goldbach is 135.6 km², of which 35.6 km² are on Hungarian territory.
