The Google Store is an online hardware retailer operated by Google . It was presented on March 11, 2015 and replaces the former Devices area of ​​the Play Store as Google's hardware dealer. The Google Store is run by Ana Corrales, who simultaneously COO of the Consumer Hardware Division is Google.

Google also experimented with local stores. In October 2016, a pop-up store was opened in New York to present their hardware products that were announced at the time. The following month they also opened Google Shops . These are retail spaces within selected Best Buy stores in Canada .

Products

The Google Store sells products made by or in partnership with Google. This includes Google Nexus and Google Pixel devices, Chromecasts , Google Stadia controllers, Wear OS By Google Smartwatches , Nest Labs products, Chromebooks and accessories including keyboards , chargers and phone cases.

Awards

Google Store received the Webby Award in the Consumer Electronics category in 2016 .
