Goran Aleksić (born September 12, 1982 ) is an Austrian handball goalkeeper of Serbian origin.

Career

Aleksić was active for HC Napredak Kruševac until 2005 , before he was signed by Proleter Zrenjanin for two years. In 2007 the 2.02 meter tall goalkeeper signed with Red Star Belgrade . This season he took part for the first time in the EHF Champions League and later in the EHF Cup . For the 2008/09 season RK Rudar Evj Trbovlje secured his services. Since the 2009/10 season the Serb has been playing in the Handball League Austria for Bregenz Handball . In his first year with the Vorarlberg team , he secured the Austrian championship title with the team. He also took the men from Lake Constance, 2009/10 and 2010/11 at the EHF Champions League and 2009/10 , 2010/11 , 2011/12 , 2013/14 and 2014/15 at the EHF Cup part. In 2014, Aleksić reached an agreement with Bregenz and extended to 2017 with the Vorarlbergers. In December 2015 he received Austrian citizenship and was accepted into the Austrian men's national handball team.
